There were too many of Kyra's lastest sayings for the side bar, so here they are!
Kyra came into my room at 5:45 AM the other day and said "Mommy, do we have to be nice to everyone". I replied, half asleep "Yes, we need to be nice to everyone." Kyra then says "Then why does Daddy boo U of A?" I then woke up enough to say "Let's call Daddy at work...he will have to explain this one."
We were driving through a border patrol check point the other night, and attemped to explain to Kyra what the Border Patrol does. I said that its okay when people come to our country to live and work, but that they have to wait their turn, and fill out some paper work, etc. But some people just try and sneak into the United States, so the Border Patrol catches them and takes them back to their country. Kyra says "Oh, then they lock them in their bedroom huh!"
Kyra lately has been calling Kyle names lately, especially "Stinky Pete". You would think Kyle wouldn't care, but lets just say HE CARES. Well after a couple time outs Kyra started calling Kyle "Handsome boy" but saying it in the same tone as "Stinky Pete". Still bugs the snot out of Kyle, but I can't get mad....sigh.
The other day Kyle was playing in Kyra's room, and she wanted him out, so she yells "KYLE GET OUT OF MY ROOM NOW!!!" I expain that she was sounding very mean, and she needed to think of a better way to get him out of her room. She turns back to Kyle and in the sweetest voice ever says "Kyle I love when you play in my room, please stay forever." Kyle got up and left.
Its a bad sign when your 3 year old understands reverse psychology.

You know, if her mama and daddy weren't genius's themselves.... Kyra is one smart little girl.I think I was saying about two words and drooling most of the time when I was her age.
