What??

We were at the table today, and I was looking at a magazine, and there was an ad for bread. On the ad they had a girl thinking about the answer of 3+3=?, and that the bread would make her smarter, so she would be able to think of the answer. Kyra leaned over, and inbetween bites, nonchalantly said "The answer is 6." What? How did you know that? "Um, I don't know." This is the rest of the converstation. Afterwards I asked where she leared adding from and she said "My brain taught me." And she's doing it in her head!! She's not using her fingers to count. I'm not sure about the facial expressions though. Did I mention that technically according to the state of Arizona, she is supposed to be in preschool for another year!

Sewing

Here is the first real project I have done since Carter was born. I like the way it turned out. I was trying to add some little cap sleeves, but they weren't working as well as I hoped. Maybe next time! The link to the idea is on the laptop, which is having issues at this exact moment. But once we get it up and running, I will add a link to it.

Memory

Kyra has a fantastic memory! I mean, the things she remembers is insane. We will be driving somewhere, and she will say "Oh look, that is the building that we went to 2 years ago with my friend Lacey to watch fireworks." It really was like 2 or 3 years ago, and we haven't been there since. We can read a book, 2 or 3 times and she will have the majority of it memorized. Well about a week ago we went to the toy store, and they have this little video advertising some toy. Well Kyra and Kyle pushed the button TWICE, yes TWICE and Kyra was able to memorize the ENTIRE video. On the list of things that the kiddos inherited from Karl vs me, the score is now 1 million to 1! I'm on the board!
