What a strong boy!

Kyra had her cast off this week. She was supposed to have it on only for 3 weeks, but the doctor didn't have an appt. available for 4 1/2 weeks. Well we noticed a small cut forming on the bottom of her foot where she had worn the cast off. As a result, they were able to fit her in last Monday (exactly the 3 week mark) and it turns out that the cast had rubbed off all the skin on the bottom of her foot and she had sores up her leg and around her ankles!!! Needless to say we are SO happy we got it off last Monday and not this week. But her X-rays looked good, so hopefully she will heal quickly. Kyra is constantly saying "Hey Baby" to Kyle with a sly little smirk on her face. Well today during sacrament she switched back and forth from saying "Poo Poo" and saying "Hey Baby" to the elderly man sitting behind us. Luckly he thought it was very cute.
Kyle is doing well. His acid reflux seems to be under control. He is now on Zantac. He still isn't sleeping really great, but he is not throwing up, or choking anymore, which is wonderful. He is now a month old!
We are still looking for a car. We looked at quite a few this weekend, but nothing that we loved. Karl has his final next week. Then 3 more classes. He is trying to convince me that he needs a big screen TV as an award.....I said we would talk about it.

In other news I got called to the Relief Society Presidency today, as the Enrichment Counselor. I think it will be a lot of fun but a huge challenge in terms of staying organized and finding time for everything.

We have also decided to travel up to Los Alamos for Kyle's baby blessing over Memorial Day weekend. It should be fun for all of Karls grandparents to see the kids!

Kyle's 2 1/2 week doctors visit

Our silly boy!

Today we took Kyle into the pediatrician. He was a little jaundice when we was born, so she wanted to recheck him. He looks great. He is now 8 pounds, 1 oz and 20.5 inches long. He has gained 1 lb and 3 oz since he was born. He has also grown 2 inches! Dr. Giesert put him on some medicine for acid reflux. Hopefully that will help him sleep better at night..or at least Karl and I can hope. Kyra's cast comes off in just over a week. She is now ADDICTED to Monsters Inc. We watched it twice today. She can kind of count...2..3..4...8..9..10. We are all very excited about that! Karl signed up for the all of the remaining grad classes today, which will have him finished in December. We will travel back to Las Cruces for commencement. We are still trying to decide when to have Kyles baby blessing, and trying to decide on a second car...Decisions...decisions.

Kyra holding Kyle

We would like to introduce our new little baby. Kyle Nash Adams was born on March 30th. He was 6 lbs 14 oz, and 18.5 inches long. It all happened very quickly, only about 4 hours. He is a clone of his big sister, but so far a little more mellow. Kyra LOVES her baby brother and wakes up in the morning saying "Baby, baby, baby, baby".
