It cracks me up to hear you say "whoo hoo" over something like that, but I'm sure you'll be glad to stop hurting!! I hope it all goes well.

I will be thinking of you! I know this sounds funny, but I wish I could do your xrays in the OR.

Hi Sarah,(I am Renna's cousins in law) Just wanted to pass along some info from my sister in law. She had her gallblader removed years ago & found out that it worsened her issues instead of making them better. So in her words "Removing the gallbladder doesn't fix the problem what caused the problem. The purpose of the gallbladder is what regulates how much bile to send in the stomach to process greasy food. You will not be able to eat any sugar or fats, including butter". She regrets ever having it done and wishes she would have checked it out further. She says memories from sexual abuse are stored in the Gallbladder (not saying that either of these happened to you) and/or poor diet can also be a factor. She said good wholesome lemonade can fix most problems as with good supplementation. It is hard to have meals together because of her restrictions, not a speck of any kind of fat or sugars. Sorry if it sounded preachy, but I have seen her really suffer more after the surgery and she said that almost everyone she talks to who has had the surgery is the same way, not what Dr.'s said it would be!

After eating the best I had in my life I ended up in the emergency room in severe pain from my gall bladder. I had it removed in a an easy surgery. I walked two miles three days after the surgery. I have had no problem with eating anything since and the best part no more pain. I am thankful for modern medicine. The only thing I forgot was the severe pain I had been in. Just get a blessing before the surger and I am sure everything will be well.
