Karl turned 30 yesterday! 
Last night, around 11:30, he commented "I feel old". Now in my defense...I was trying to make him feel better, and I was also half asleep and very tired...but my reply was "Don't worry sweatheart, you know what they say, 30 is the new 50". I don't think my comment helped.
Karl got a new suns jersey, a shirt, and tickets to go see a Suns game in Phoenix in a couple week! He is pretty excited about it! A friend then watched the kiddos while we went out to eat, then came home and had cake and ice cream. Happy birthday Karl!

He is the same age as Aaron .... I think it is 30 is the new 20 or maybe it is the new 10...ha ha hey it is better than the new 50 :)

Don't feel old, you have just had time to learn and grow wiser! For some reason reading this post reminded me of the time tat you were in a hurry to get to Seminary and you broke the axle on your car pulling out of the driveway. See, you are much wiser now, I bet you haven't done that again! :)
Enjoy your 30s. Ow and if you have a Wii, don't get your Wii age, it told me last night that I am 58, how insulting!

Dj turned 30 this year as well. At least you tried to console him! I've just been giving DJ a hard about being so old! Really, though, 30 is definitely not as old as it used to be!
