Kyra turned 4 a couple of weeks ago!! She walked into our room, the morning of her birthday. I said "Happy Birthday Moo Moo!" She replied "Am I four today?" "Yes!", I say. Kyra responds "Oh Boy!! I can't wait until I'm 5!" Oh well....
At breakfast Kyra was surprised, by Kyle (with help from Daddy) with Tinkerbell birthday ballons. She loved them! I also made her favorite breakfast of homemade waffles, with syrup, strawberries and whip cream on top!
Then she got to celebrate her birthday at preschool with Princess cupcakes. (I forgot to take a picture :( When Daddy got home from work she opened her presents from us...board games, books on cd (SHE LOVES!), a CD player, a quilt from Aunt Pam (LOVES!), and a playhouse from Grandpa and Grandma (LOVES!).
This year instead of a regular party, Kyra wanted to have a sleepover with her two best buddies, Bailee and Bailey!
Here they are setting up the tent in the backyard. I love that Bailee, at the end isn't even holding the pole...so cute!
The girls watched a movie and ate pizza in the tent, then came in for games and playdough! But of course, no game playing/playdough molding is complete without princess gowns!

Then the girls wanted to watch Tinkerbell in the tent, and enjoy popcorn and Capri Suns.

After about 45 minutes, the girls decided that they wanted to sleep in the tent, but INSIDE the house. So Karl moved all the beds, and the tent to the front room, while the girls and I made smores! (Seriously between pizza, lemonade, popcorn, and smores...I'm really surprised no one threw up!)

They finished the rest of Tinkerbell inside the house, got ready for bed, read a couple stories, and everyone was out by 9:30. They did wake up by about 6 the next morning! We made French toast for breakfast, then it was off to become princesses again. I made each girl a little purse filled with goodies, which they played with until their Moms came around 10.

The girls were FANTASTIC...so well behaved...all of them played so well together....they slept great. It was so much fun!
Then that afternoon, after a much needed nap Grandma and Grandpa G. came to celebrate with us, and attend Kyra's ballet recital the next day. More of that to come!
